InterMine webapp

The InterMine web application provides a powerful yet easy to use query interface to the InterMine system. By installing the webapp you will have access to a number of features like Templates, Lists and Widgets, the QueryBuilder and Data Categories which make retrieving and colliding data from the ObjectStore fast and easy.

A biologist with little or no knowledge in computing can configure certain aspects of the interface, like creating relevant templates and lists and making them accessible to all users, or configuring Data Categories.

The webapp is implemented in Java/JSP using the Struts framework and is deployed on a Tomcat server, which you will have to install first. You will need to create a userprofile database in order to store user-specific information such as tags, queries, lists and templates.
